About Us....
Established in 2002 this B&B has quickly become a favourtie with all who have stayed. En-suite facilities, ample car parking space, t.v., fine food and of course a warm welcome ensure your stay will be as comforatable and enjoyable as is possible. The B&B owner takes great pride in the appearance of the establishment. So much so that she has won best garden in Dundalk numerous times, a honour she takes great pride in.
Dundalk, a busy manufacturing centre at the head of Dundalk Bay, is the county town of Louth. Dundalk racecourse is 1 1/2 miles (2 km) to the north. There is greyhound racing twice weekly. Salmon and trout fishing is available on the River Fane and other streams, and there is golf (18) at Blackrock, horse-riding instruction and pony-trekking. Louth Foxhounds and Dundalk Harriers hunt the district. Tennis, squash, dancing, cinemas and other entertainments are available. An international theatre festival takes place every year. The forest park at Ravensdale has walks and nature trails.
The last week in May brings international drama to Dundalk for the annual May Time Festival. Drama clubs from various countries spend a week in Dundalk to compete in the International Drama Competition.As well as the main drama the pubs compete in pub drama, there is lunch time theatre, art exhibitions, lively debates and of course plenty of craic with late night opening of the hostelries.The Maytime Festival Club, with discos and live bands, runs every night until the wee hours.
